Knowing how to properly exercise is essential in order to avoid injury, progress appropriately, and just have the best experience possible. In this lesson, we will go through the technical aspects of physical fitness. Firstly, identify the prerequisites; what you need to know and do prior to doing your first squat or push up. In this lesson, we are referring mainly to physical exercise, however, psychological exercise is equally important for progressing physically which we will be discussing in future lessons.
Goals: You need to know what you want to accomplish in order to know how you’re going to get there. This is why setting goals are important. Is fat loss your goal? Do you wish to pack on 10 pounds of lean muscle? Different goals will require different styles of exercise.
